left naked in the streets during winter trying to figure out a plan to conceal his invisibility while protected from the harsh weather. Then he is chased out of Iping village when his invisibility is revealed to the people while working to reverse his invisible circumstances. Then two people that he needed to work with cross him, first Mr. Marvel takes his books that have his research in and runs from him to a town that protects and chases the Invisible Man away by shooting wildly, shooting him in the wrist. Second, Dr. Kemp who seems as though he will aid the Invisible Man betrays him and tells the police of his whereabouts. In the end while in a mad rage chasing Dr. Kemp through town after his betrayal but the town people manage to capture him and beat him to death.
