The Islam Religion

In the Islam religion, the word "Prophet" have two meanings, one is "Rasul," which means "a messenger who received a Book, someone with special mission," while the other meaning is "Nabi," one who received direct inspiration or "wahi." These important meanings of Prophet in Islam is related directly to how Muslims regard and portray Muhammad, the Islamic Prophet who had 'relayed' the message of Allah to the people, and wrote down these important teachings of Allah into what we now call the Qur'an, the holy book/Bible of Islam.
