Middle East comprises of Arabs followed by Turks, Persians, Israelis, Berbers and Kurds. All the three major religions i.e. Islam, Christianity and Judaism have their roots in the Middle East with a vast number of followers. Religion has had a major impact on this region both in terms of social, political and worldly conflict. From Mustafa Kamal Ataturk's transformation of the Turkish society under the influence of Europe by eliminating the Islamic norms to Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini's exact opposite approach of an Islamic based nation, this region has seen many conflicts and many transitions. The Iran-Iraq War, the Gulf War and the Israel-Palestinian Conflict have all given this region a profile like none other in terms of inter-religious, political and economic rivalries between the various countries, which constitute the Middle East. .
