Still consumed by his anger Obierika rushed through the village waving his rifle and machete wildly in the air and bellowing battle cries at the timid villagers. The men of the village gathered around him and tried to restrain him.

" The Christians are stealing our children, taking them off to serve their evil gods and you stand by and ask what is the matter! We must fight against the white skinned devils!"
