The Proposal by Anton Chekov

I read a play "The Proposal", written by Anton Chekov. It happened at Chubukov's country-house, in the drawer room, about 7 p.m. There was a family with consist of a father and his daughter, Natalya. Their neighbor is Lomov, so he came to Chubukov and asks him to be Natalya's husband. Wearing formal cloth, he proposed to her. But before all that, he had an argument with Natalya about the Oxen Meadows. So here, I will tell you about each character of the play.
The first character is Lomov. He is a good neighbor who lives by Chubukov's family. He's about 35 years old. So one day he came to their house ...

second main character is Chubukov. He is a landowner, a pretty wise father, about 70 years old. When his daughter wants something, he tries to get everything he can for her because she's the only one who he has in his life. He judges people equally, so everyone would be happy. I really like this character because looks like he doesn't have a wife, so he tries to be the best dad and mom to his daughter by showing his love and care to her.
The last character of this play is Natalya. She's Chubukov's daughter. A 25 year old women. She's the only daughter of a widower and a strong women. Her father really loves her and does she. Natalya is a spoiled girl, with an attitude. She loves to argue with people and get what she wants and who she wants. She married Lomov at the end of the play.
After reading and understanding this play, I will conclude that it belongs to man vs. society because this play appears the interaction among some people. I liked and really enjoyed this play ...
