For as many United States citizens, there will be equally as many theories and philosophies concerning the purpose of our government. For as long as there is freedom of speech, there will always be high school teenagers shouting “Anarchy!” and neo-Nazis attempting to rule our country in the manner of Adolf Hitler. Although rather uneducated on this subject, in my opinion, the purpose of government isn’t to allow anarchy or tyranny, but rather to provide for and to protect the people whether it’s the highest or lowest citizens.
