In order to ensure that society does not become chaotic and disorganized, our government has the ability to amend The Constitution. It is the government’s duty to make decisions and change law in order to keep our nation protected and organized. For example, I believe if the government had intervened upon banking systems in America and done more to control the overvaluation of assets, the economic crisis of 2007 to present may not have been such a catastrophe. The government should make decisions and mediate if it appears that the people are making decisions that negatively affect the country.
