Today our legion was ordered a forced march on Tai’Shiva, one of the enemies darkest fortifications, an infamous slaughter house of Demons, Devil Spawn, and the feared and hated Fetch. We are to be the scout force to Tai’Shiva in our lord Sephrioth’s army. I guess our reputation with the generals as being a bunch of hard asses has sent us maybe even most certainly to our deaths. We have lost Manatheran, our greatest fortress! We have but one stronghold left, Malkier. A large strike force has been assembled at Tai’Shiva to crush us, if we lose Malkier, we will be driven back into the sea by the forces of darkness. The King turned and took a good look at his general. Ragnoth was a tall man, and yet for his age he seemed far, far older. He bore enough scars for an army. He had the strength of 2 blacksmiths in his old age. Well he was not that old, Ragnoth was barely fifty. He carried a long thin bladed sword on his back, and he knew how to use it. His armour shimmered, made of a very strong steel-titanium-gold alloy. He had survived the barbarian wars, and had been decorated with many honors. He was no mere mortal himself.
The king was of an ancient age, of ancient people, of an ancient time. He was one 0f the few left of his people, that stayed behind to make sure the gate stayed sealed, the others had left to the promise land.
