Every day, animals forced into captivity are mentally and physically suffering. Every day, innocent racehorses are facing the devastating consequences of their life on the track. They are being abused by whips, electric shock devices, performance-enhancing drugs and sometimes even themselves. Animals are not ours to contain or harm, and they certainly arenâ€™t to be made into a spectacle for us to gawk at in the name of entertainment. It is for these reasons, and many others, that the use of animals for entertainment should be banned.
