Casper, Wyoming is the second largest city in the state, behind its capital Cheyenne. This city is located at the foot of Casper Mountain and is elevated at 5,345 feet. The latitude and longitude of Casper is 42° 52’ 0’’ N and 106° 18' 45" W. This city has a very low humidity level, which helps moderate cold winters and the heat of the summer. The National Weather Service calls it “the comfort zone”. Casper, Wyoming generally sees about two out of the four seasons. The winter is around November through May.
