In order to understand this essay's topic, you have to know two terms well - a dog and fear. I think we all know these two words. Can you imagine what can happen when we join both words? For me, it is one of the most unpleasant words I have ever known - dogfear, dog-phobia - in Polish "psia-fobia." As in any kinds of phobia, you feel an aversion to something you are afraid of; in the case of "psia-fobia" that something is a dog. You are scared to think about it, and even talk about it, to say nothing of looking at it or touching it. And what about meeting with it? It is the most horrible feeling you have ever felt. and there. People say, "What a nice dog," but I see a big mouth full of sharp teeth, ready to bite anything that is in its way. I see paws which do not serve as "useful utensils" helpful in life, but as a 104 kind of weapon used in a fight. I see not funny, furry ears, but the instruments used for hearing every move or step of a baddie - a person I am always for them. I cannot see the nice, round, and trustful eyes fixed on his master. Instead, I see the dog's eyes looking intently at my every movement. This animal is always ready to bite me, ready to claw me, ready to seize me. "Psia-fobia" is for me like having an exam. I know about an exam from the beginning, but I do not like thinking and talking about it too much, the same as I do not like talking about dogs.
