Women in Kingsley Amis' Lucky Jim

Kingsley Amis' novel Lucky Jim basically presents a story about academic life in 1950s England. Besides, much information about the basis of the English society in that period is also revealed, particularly the role of women. One is able to see the signs of sexism while reading the novel. Women are judged and classified as good or bad by their physical appearances and social classes by James Dixon, who is the protagonist of the novel.
