At the beginning of my freshman year in high school I was very overwhelmed in Writing Literature. I had so much more homework than I did during middle school. As the year went on I figured out how to manage my time better and become a better student and get all of my work done. I wasn’t completely successful because I tend to procrastinate and wait until the last minute to do things. Next year I would like to go into Writing through World literature 2 because humanities does not interest me and I would like to continue in writing literature.

Along with my strengths I also have weaknesses. I tend to procrastinate and sometimes it is hard for me to get all of my work done on time because I forget about it or procrastinate too much. My weaknesses in reading are that if it is not an interesting book I will end up just scanning all the pages and not actually retain any of the information. If I don’t find the book interesting it will be very hard for me to read it. My weaknesses in writing are that I have absolutely no imagination so when it comes to creative writing or poetry that is where I really lack in creativity and my writing gets worse.
I love working in groups because it is a good way to collaborate and share ideas so it’s not just your own ideas but you have multiple ideas to choose from.
