A Great Accomplishment

Achievement: something accomplished, especially by superior ability, special effort, great courage. Something I consider one of my greatest accomplishments in my young adult life is attaining my first job. I could name many reasons why I think of this as an achievement but three things I consider most important. It has taught me how to be responsible, it has helped me build confidence to overcome other obstacles and it has given me a new perspective on working.

they graduate high school. Personally, I feel like I am more prepared for college because my confidence level has gone up. When I have to get a second job in college, I won’t be as scared because I will have already been through the experience. Another way I have gained independence is by making my own money. I don’t have to ask my parents for money as much because I get my own paychecks. I can buy little things I enjoy and save up money to purchase my own car.
Secondly, I know I have overcome an enormous obstacle in my life which gives me an amazing feeling of accomplishment.
