ADD and ADHD are quite common disorders in today’s world, but you might not know what it is.
ADD stands for “Attention Deficit Disorder” and ADHD means “Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.” It shows up normally in the earlier schooling years. Between 3-5% of children have it. Kids with these disorders have trouble paying attention and or controlling their behavior. Sure, inattentiveness may describe you, but there are a lot more symptoms than you think. They are overly impatient and hate waiting for things. They get bored with things very easily unless it is something they really enjoy. and a hotter temper than most teenagers. It is very hard for teens with ADHD to learn to drive because of their shorter fuse. They are more likely to get into an accident because someone did something stupid on the road that made them mad, which my best friend Travis is a prime example of. His car looks like a crash test car, and almost killed us a couple times because he decided to roll down the window to yell and threaten a guy that cut us off, resulting in us almost crashing into a telephone pole.
Keep in mind that not everyone who is overly hyperactive, inattentive, or impulsive has ADHD. ADHD has had a big effect on society. People with either don’t often show it if we can help it and usually hate it when they are made fun of for it. Most kids with this disorder often fell like they can’t sit still.
