To Whom it May Concern:

I am writing to request that my enrollment status be reinstated. Recently, my academics suffered as a result of some personal problems. Most of my difficulties concentrating and coping in school stem from my grandfather's recent death. Once he passed away, it seemed that my life became filled with chaos. My grandfather's death exacerbated the marital difficulties between my parents, which also adversely affected me. Therefore, I suffered a series of emotional blows in a short period of time.

weekend to assist my dad, but this further distracted me from my schoolwork. Luckily, my parents gradually improved their relations, and my dad's store began to thrive. Making myself available to help my family strengthened my self-confidence and my sense of belonging. All-in-all, these conflicts strengthened me mentally and emotionally.
Currently I am taking two summer courses. One of these I am repeating from the winter semester after failing. I am doing quite well in that class. If I am reinstated, I plan on taking P-Stat again, as well. If I am able to repeat this course, I am confident I can get my academic career back on track.
