The first time I ever recognized that I was a complete adrenaline junky is when I was only eight years old. I can remember it like it was yesterday; my mother was perfecting her flowers in the garden while my brother and I were running around like maniacs. I guess I have always had a thrill for fast and unsafe situations. My teenage years are when I really experienced my most adrenaline based activities. When I was just 13 years old I had a best friend named Matt Garrett; he was probably more of a junky then I was. One day he asked if I wanted to go drifting in his car, which didn't have a passenger in it, but I didn't have anything else to do so I was thinking why not!? I sat on the bare floorboard of the car as he started revving it up. I was actually sitting so low that I couldn't even see out of the window or where he was going; I just knew we were driving fast. Any normal person would have been scared to death, but not me. Then he would look at me with a smile on his face and say "hold on".
