I find it to be funny because this has happened to friends and people that I know, so after reading this chapter, the realization is that this happens everywhere and with all sorts of people.

Edgar Allan Poe’s humorous story, “The Angel from the Odd”, too has a lot of humor, as well as irony. The main story focuses on someone who attempts to avoid being hurt or seriously injured, but ends up with the same result by doing something differently. The humor picked up from “The Angel from the odd” is that when one consumes so much alcohol on a consistent and regular basis, it causes one to dream about something dealing with alcohol related dreams.
