Aristotle was a master of sciences, one upping his fellow philosopher in the conviction of observation and logic. In a time when knowledge had a limit, this man made it a point to know learn and ingest it all, but was just a small glimpse into his legacy.

It would imply a number of things, such as: one could managed their skills and opportunities well, your fellow peers would not consider you dull or withdrawn from life, and finally to be virtuous meant to act with the upmost excellence.

Purpose

To put in lemans terms; the purpose of having a human is to simply exist. Aristotle believed that each biological structure had a defined purpose. “the eye for seeing, the hands for grasping etc”. But at a birds eye view, the body clarifies our intellectual existence. How we live our lives varies on the ethics and morals we hold true to. Whether it is raising a family, excelling our career, or any where in between. Many believe we work our premeditated lives for a single moment, and once that has been accomplished we seek another challenge worthy of one upping our previous achievement.
Aristotle was convinced that the purpose of humans was not to reason, but to be virtuous and reason well. He labeled this as the “purpose of man”. Man; being the focus of that statement, Aristotle came to his own conclusion for the purpose of women (childbearing for instance).
