1. The purpose of my speech is to educate the public on early detection of Autism.

Autism affects 1 in 68 children. The ratio of boys and girls is 4-1 and is dramatically increasing


2. Diagnosis is based on behavior, not cause or mechanism.


A. Autism can be diagnosed as early as 18 months, but some signs can be noticed as early as 6 months.
