Ballet

There are so many wide varieties and different forms of dancing. My personal favorite and one of the most well known forms of dance in the past and present, is Ballet. It has been around for over 300 years, beginning in royal courts in the early 1600’s. During this time, ballerinas wore long skirts and wooden clogs for their dancing attire, which is entirely different compared to what they wear now in our present day. Ballerinas are typically recognized for their strength, beauty, and grace. Ballet is a very elegant and graceful form of dance and usually tells a story set to music.
