Bathroom Rights

It's the last 10 minutes of class and you really have to use the restroom, so you ask, "May I please use the bathroom?" Your teacher looks at the clock and then says "No, there's 10 minutes left in class. You'll have to wait until class is over. You know the rules."

In your mind you're thinking, "But I have to get to my next class that is all the way across campus in 5 minutes!" At this particular school the bathroom rules consist of: no using the bathroom 10 minutes after class start or ends and no using the bathroom during 4[th] period. It is ridiculous! time until I was released from class to rush to the bathroom after school instead of paying attention to my teacher. My teacher was very irritated with me, and let me know that through the glare she gave me as I got anxious in the last minute left. It could be a lot easier if I was able to use the bathroom real quick, and feel refreshed for the last few minutes of class to pay attention to what my teacher was trying to teach us. I wouldn't be focused on my bladder exploding; I'd be focused on what she is talking about. It would be a win-win situation for both me and my teacher.

Not only do students lose focus in class, but they increase the risks of getting an infection. When you are denied to use the bathroom in class, you are forced to hold it.
