From the time we're little kids, all the way until it's time to graduate High School, we are always thinking ahead of things. When is it time to eat? Is my birthday coming yet? What happens after death? How many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie roll pop? It's natural, we rush through things; but in my case it's the other way around. I have two- four year old nephews and I've noticed that they have the biggest hearts and they're always so happy, they don't have a worry in the world. At that age, they don't have to worry about bills, or peer pressure; they don't even know what stress is at this age. If I could go back to being a kid I most surely would. When you start growing and maturing, that's when life starts happening.
Another reason I've wanted to be younger than older is because of the youthfulness. They always say you're just as young as you feel. Sometimes I feel like maybe I'm just afraid of growing up- like it's a trap, or maybe it's the responsibility that comes with it. For eighteen years we live with our parents and they do everything for us.
