Black and Space

The United States standing atop of the world as the center of the biggest melting pot leaves many of their citizens confused and suffers from a racial identity crisis. Racial identity crisis is when certain behaviors are seen to be exhibited by a specific group of people that they can make ties to. As individuals of each group, you would want to break away from this stereotypical view and assimilate to the norms of society.

Staples explained that he would have to make himself less threatening to reduce the tension among others around him during late hours. While waiting for the train he would give a plenty of space to others and would sing classical tunes to let pedestrians know that he isn't looking for any trouble.
