I am deeply impressed by his attitude towards competitors and consumers. The book mentioned an interview during which Steve Jobs was asked about his view on the market cap of Apple surpassing that of Microsoft. He replied, "Firstly, whether Apple's market cap will exceed Microsoft`s or not is not what our company concerns, we only focus on how to make our products better. Secondly, Apple's market cap is not the factor that consumers will consider to choose Apple's products, for they only pay attention to whether our products are good or not." In China, we have been instilled with the idea that we must struggle for the first place since childhood, but what Jobs said reminds me that we are not living in the world to be the first.
