It’s hard to be a poor teenager and to have the responsibility to care a family. Neil Simon, a playwright who describes his rough times and his sense of duty. His understanding family, and the constant responsibility of keeping his family together during hard times helped Neil Simon to create his characters in Brighten Beach Memoirs.
Having deep feelings of responsibility, Neil Simon was destined to keep his family together.
