Although China doesn’t have an abundant of natural resources like some other countries, China has written a new chapter in the book of mastering trade. As Dr. Castello once said, “Don’t be surprised if in the next 30 years China surpasses the U.S. and the new language everybody is speaking is Chinese. When this happens I want you to give me a call in my retirement home.” This paper is going to expand on the different things China does to affect the trading world and vice versa what the world does to affect the way China trades. The first section will concentrate on the strategies that China puts in place to become a more reconstructed China and to further continue to grow. Section two will discuss China’s exports/imports. As we enter the beginning of a new era, trade is going to be what separates the powerful from the weak.
