In this essay I will set out an analysis of Constructivism as a learning theory and how it links into police training at a service, organisational and individual level. I will then demonstrate how can be linked to another learning theory competence based learning to complement the training and assessment of police officers at all levels. Having done this I will explain how I apply constructivist praxes in my individual teaching and learning
