Copper is an extremely important metal that has many uses. Coppers primary use is for making wire, as it is the best low cost conductor of electricity. About 60% of copper used is as wiring. Copper wire carries most of the electricity inside houses, factories, and office. Other uses of Copper include televisions, speakers, motors, and generators.
Copper can also be combined with other metals to form alloys such as Brass, which is used for instruments, screws, coins, marine hardware, and decorative objects, because it is extremely shiny when polished..
