Crohn's Disease

Crohn's disease also known as regional enteritis is a type of inflammatory bowel disease that affects any part of the gastrointestinal tract from mouth to the anus. There are various types of symptoms. It causes abdominal pain, diarrhea, vomiting, or weight loss. It may also cause symptoms outside the gastrointestinal tract like skin rashes, arthritis, inflammation of the eye, lack of concentration, and fatigue. Crohn's Disease is unpredictable. Just when you think you understand your symptoms, they may change in severity, or change altogether. (Crohn's online, 2014)

is more like trial and error because not everyone is the same. I think to overcome these factors a person would have to think about if they wanted to be in pain all the time, what worse could happen if they did not change their lifestyle, try other things to help them quit smoking, and find foods they like but also does not cause flair ups. Working with their doctor to find ways to make these lifestyle changes easier, and likeable would be very helpful too. If it were me I would rather take on these lifestyle changes, than be in pain all the time, or worse. As far as quitting smoking I would ask my doctor what methods work the best to quit, and what he recommends for me to try. I would also ask him what foods would be the best for me to try. I would also want to be on the medications that helped with the flair ups, or that helped with the disease.
