Dealing With Marijuana Addicts

Interacting and dealing with Marijuana addicts has shown me a lot about an addiction that often gets overlooked. Marijuana is often just looked as something fun or relaxing to do on recreational times but when the use becomes a routine and an obsession that is when the problem begins. Marijuana addicts never believe that they have a problem. They always seem to believe that because the drug they are consuming is not a drug like Heroin or Cocaine that they will be able to stop anytime. Further on it becomes visible that they cannot stop, that they are just taking part in a vicious cycle within themselves. from the people I know and deal with in a daily basis Marijuana becomes a social stimulant. The "pot head" in high school or college is the cool laid back guy. The one with all the friends and the one that simply just gets by. This is exactly what I see with a couple of people that I know well. They become obsessed with Marijuana and the look that it gives the people you meet and the attitudes towards you. When Marijuana addicts meets and another Marijuana smoker they instantly have a connection because to them that one thing in common is a very strong similarity.
