Doctor Assisted Suicide

The Supreme Court is presently considering whether states may make it a crime for doctors to assist in a patient's suicide. The issue is whether such laws violate the Constitutional rights of people. In deciding these appeals, the Supreme Court must first resolve the big question: Whose life is it, anyways? Does your life belong to God, as the conservatives say? Or to society, as the liberals say? Or to you alone, as the Founding Fathers said? When the Supreme court relizes that it is the persons right to live as is the persons right to die then the suffering of many termanaly ill people can stop.
