Foreword
This Essay was a lot easier to write than my first. The reason for this is that my first book was a lot harder to understand. I spent most of the time translating words, this time I read my book in less than a week. I have always liked to read but before this year I never read a book in English. My first was Romeo and Juliet, which I loved, but was pretty hard to get through. My second was this one, and in the meantime I have read 3 other English books. After handing this in, I will start on the lecture books you recommended me. Starting with a kiss before dying.

and have a good time together. If something goes wrong she want to erase those memories. At one point she asks her granddad if he didn't want to forget all his bad moments and he says that she must never say that, followed by the next words:
"Because it's the bad memories that makes you appreciate the good ones. Don't ever wish them away. Like your nan used to say, `you need both the sun and the rain to make a rainbow.''
I think he is extremely right! Most people want to be `happy' but they don't even know what that means. They see happiness as destination, they think they will be happy if they have a man, house, kids, dog etc. They want to become happy but I don't think that's right.
I see happiness as a feeling, a mood. Something that can last for days, months but also for an hour. I get happy when I get good notes, I am having a good time with friends, when I am visiting my new school. Other times I am sad, because things don't go the way I expected or sometimes worse but ...
