I belong to a group that was once an outcast to society. I belong to a group that had a unique identity. I belong to a group that initially promoted solely the acronym, P.L.U.R. (Peace.Love.Unity.Respect). I belong to a group that was underground. Now, I belong to a group that is being capitalized. Now, I belong to a group where it's the "cool" thing to do. Now, I belong to a group that lost its' identity. Now, I belong to a group where in almost every club you will see someone "shuffle"

I'm a twenty year veteran in the Electronic Dance Music scene, or EDM for short.

Artists would overlay multiple tracks (normally instrumentals of existing tracks) on reel-to-reel tape players, which were commonplace at the time, to create their own unique tracks. We felt that the "common folk" did not truly understand the intentions to why the producer "did this" in his track or why he "did that."
