I completed the grit scale in the book Grit: The Power of Passion and Perseverance by Angela Duckworth. My results did surprise me because I didnā€™t expect to be so gritty. Sometimes when I have a big project I procrastinate because I know it will take me a while to complete when all I want to do is relax. Setbacks usually discourage me and make me feel like I canā€™t do anything right. After taking the grit test, I realized that I also have some good habits. I am a hard worker and I never give up on something even if I am struggling. I set goals for myself and write them down so I donā€™t forget and make sure I reach my goal.
