* Fire plan

In my house we have smoke alarms in our hallway which is close to our bedrooms. As a family we test the alarm and check batteries monthly. In my bedroom there is a large window I can knock out if the fire is too bad. If my family exits through the front door we are to meet at our mailbox in the front yard. If we exit through the back we are to meet in the back corner of our yard near the huge tree. We all know to dial 911, and stay low to the ground if the smoke is too bad.

lights, cell phones, blankets, bleach, medical equipment/necessities, toothpaste, soap, wipes etc. While we are in the bathroom we would stay updated by the radio.

* Tornado

We have a first-aid kit in case of emergencies. We would also have blankets, soap, toilet paper, flash lights, batteries, canned food, can opener, bottled water, etc. My parents have told us to keep our wallets close in case we get separated. If we're at home we would go to our hallway bathroom. We also would follow the same steps we used in our plan for a hurricane.

* Earthquake

If we are at school during an earthquake or a building my parents have told us to stay there. If we are outside at our home we are to meet at our mailbox. My grandfather knows how to turn our electricity off if we aren't home. If we are in a facility we all know to stay there and not leave until officials have announced we are able to leave.
