cheap. Mom couldn’t work, so our income was based on whatever child support we could scrape up. There were always police cars passing through, monitoring for any trouble that might occur. Sounds like a great place to live, right? Nobody lived there without dealing with their own share of problems. Thinking back on those times I still shiver in fear for what I had seen and what I had done. I hated going back to that place after I left camp only because I knew it was going to be next to impossible to maintain my faith. How could I?
