The Happy Boy

Many, many years ago, there lived a young man in the city. He was a sad person because he always thought that he didn't have anything. He was a good looking man, very strong, and always worked out in the gym. He had a good family that loved him. His father worked hard. His mother had a charity and was really busy with that. He often was left alone and this made him unhappy.

One day, he decided that he needed to make himself happy. "I must find ways to be happy and see things in a different light," he said. He started to look at the people around him differently. He looks at the birds and thought they were beautiful. He saw the flamboyant trees and thought they ...

him. If they called him, it was because they wanted something. No one called him just to say hello. He became unhappy again. "I am sad," he told his mother. He mother replied, "My son, you have to find a happy balance." If you find that a person is not nice and honest with you and simply wants to use you for his or her gain, then you need to run. If the person is true and sees you for the kind and gentle person that you are, then that is a true friend. Use your intuition. You are able to understand people. That is a gift. I want you to remember that people are good people and sometimes they do things that are not nice. Be gentle and don't be filled with hate."

His mother was right. He soon again found happiness in the sun, the flowers, and the flamboyant trees. His heart was still a good heart but now he looked for the good in people and used his intuition do decide whether or not people had good intentions.
