Forgotten Shoes

My life as forgotten shoes.. We wait on the shelf patiently to be worn or even picked but remain untouched. Itâ€™s almost as if she forgets about some of us. She buys us just sit and be admired , if we knew this before we wouldâ€™ve just stayed in our home. Anytime we are worn , which is never , it is the happiest moment of our lives. Stepping in gum , being stepped on , getting dirty we love it all ! I just wish she wouldnâ€™t ignore us older ones , I hate to see everyone but me getting worn.

It was a hot summer day , so I already knew I was going to be the last to be worn. She loves the bright , highlighter shoes. It must be nice to feel the sun through there mesh. All I ever feel ...

Her new shoes are treated like royalty. They usually go weeks on weeks with being worn everyday. Granted there her slippers , we only get worn once in a blue moon. As nasty as it sounds I love getting dirty. Stepping in puddles and gum. Although she is one to keep her shoes clean , we never got the full â€śshoeâ€ť experience. I love her but sometimes wish we had a different owner.

Sometimes I wander over to her parents closet to discover Iâ€™m not the only one. We had conversation about how to deal with or hint that you would like to be worn. They gave me a helpful tip , to randomly fall or to (purposely) accidentally make noises to get their attention. Iâ€™ve tried to move myself in areas where she looks often , but instead of being worn Iâ€™m just moved back to my box. Iâ€™m so sad and feel lost in this world.

The feeling of her feet in me is so comforting. Itâ€™s like a giant, tight hug until she takes them ...
