Just about everyone knows what a frog is and what it looks like. There are some people out there who don't. This is why I am writing this report. are cold-blooded amphibians. This means that they don't feel the difference in hot and cold weather. The first thing you notice when you see a frog is its shape and color. have long hind legs that, when they sit still, are folded up in a kind of N form. have a large head and no neck. They have small bodies, no tail and their front legs are pretty short compared to their back ones. Scientists think that probably evolved from an amphibian with four legs and a tail. except Antarctica. The family of frogs called Ranidae, include the leopard frog and the bullfrog. These frogs are found in North America, South America, Asia, Australia and Europe. The green-boned frogs and the arrow poison frogs are found only in Central and South America.
On all these continents and in all these countries, frogs can be found all over the place. Some frogs live in the dessert, some live in the woods, some live in the water and some live in trees. Some frogs live in the swamp and some live in the mountains.

III. Feeding habits of the frog

Like all animals, frogs have to eat. They do this in two different ways. The most known way is with their tongue. Frogs stretch out their tongue to catch the fly that they have been watching. The fly gets stuck to the tongue because the tongue has a sticky material on it. When the frog feels the fly on its tongue, it then pulls the tongue back in and has a tasty lunch.
