Gateway 2000, Inc

. Located at 610 Gateway Dr. North Sioux City,
South Dakota, was founded in 1985, by two men Ted Waitt and Mike Hammond,
in Sioux City Iowa. The company was formed for one purpose, to offer.
They wanted people to have choices, a nice selection, good prices and a
staff with a vast knowledge. The two sold hardware and peripherals to
owners of Texas Instruments computers. By putting ads in common PC
magazines they sold directly to the user and in their first four months of
business they generates sales of $100,000! Then they began to sell full
computer systems, also directly to the client. Since then gateway has only
gotten bigger, with numerous awards and constant expansion in 1997 ...
