One of the most debatable issues in terms of violent crimes is gun control. various situations had to make a split decision on whether or not to use their firearms in order to protect their family. Owning a gun is a right, not a privilege. We as citizens have to protect the second amendment so we can protect ourselves and our loved ones if necessary.
In contrary not everyone agrees with the second Amendment. There are opposeres who feel that Guns are a part of promoting violence and they do not always provide safety. If these weapons are used improperly or they are placed into the hands of the wrong individual, chances are there will be a greater chance of a catastrophe in our society waiting to happened. Unfortunately millions of individuals have lost their lives in gun violence. Take for instance the Columbine incident in April of 1999, where two high school students killed a teacher and several students in Littleton Colorado.
