On July 20, 2012, a mass shooting occurred during a midnight screening of the film "The Dark Knight Rises," at a Century movie theater in Aurora, Colorado. Twelve people's lives were taken, while 58 others were injured. When arrested, the suspect, James Eagan Holmes, was found in possession of an AR-15 semi-automatic assault rifle with a detachable 100-round magazine, a 12-guage shotgun, and two .40 caliber Glock handguns.
