Hamlet’S Motives For Revenge

Hamlet was a normal young prince, waiting and training to become king, but also wanting for his father to rule for a very long time. So when his father died Hamlet knew he had to been murdered. But that wasn’t enough to send Hamlet on a journey of revenge. In the other hand, the events that took place after the murder, were enough to send him to find the truth behind the actions of his loved ones at least when it came down to be blood relatives.
Just two months after his father was killed, his uncle Claudius married his mother. For Hamlet this meant that his mother and the new king Claudius had to be involved with the plot of murder of the old king, or at least were the master minds ...

it came down to love life, the whole idea he had of acting crazy affected Ophelia. Therefore obliterating the love he had shown her before during the peaceful times. And his action would later drive Ophelia to kill herself.
Although the previous announced made a big impact on Hamlet’s decisions, none were as big impacting than the apparition of his father’s ghost, especially the way he looked. The ghost looked like he had been through a lot of pain and suffering, just like a person who had been murdered. Also the ghost looked like he had been betrayed by a very close person, most likely a family member. This and only this had the most effect on Hamlet’s actions and how the whole story would all turn out to destroy their family.
