alive; they have no way to fight back even if they had the instinct to. Humans who permit this and cause this torture are sick. This is a violation against all humanity, not just horses. Horse slaughter is very disgusting; I feel there is no humanity left in humans. They feel that they are so talented and like they have the right to kill these horses and eat them. At first they get all the service from the poor animal that these persons need, then after it’s all over, they pocket the earnings from the poor horse. After the horse is not able to perform they kill them, they even make a profit by killing and eating these poor animals. So how can we save these poor creatures from this horrific fate? First of all we need to educate the world about this process; then we need to get as many people that we can together to fight and raise money to make different rescues/organizations to take these poor horses in and save them from this terrible fate. The rest of the carcass is sent to rendering plants. This is where it really gets disgusting. I hope that more people are educated about horse slaughter and how cruel and inhumane it really is. We as people do not like to be abused or tortured, so why do we do it to animals? These are innocent creatures that deserve to have a loving, caring home where they can live out their life happily.
