When I was still in middle school, I already regarded myself as an individual who can make decisions according to my own judgment and belief. Of course, as a teenager, I was naďve enough to think that all my decisions are right and sound enough to be called 'wise' decisions. However, my personal judgment and belief was put into test when my friends invited me to experience a different kind of 'adventure' in the woods near our neighborhood. My friends wanted to hunt for an animal, and since they think that hunting is a 'cool' activity, they decided to go hunt for an animal-the larger and wilder, the better. unpleasant feeling that I has as I watched my friends poked over a large bird specie that they had caught in their home-made trap; the sight of the helpless creature made me feel disgusted about myself and disappointed in my friends' attitudes and behavior that day. The unpleasant feeling that I had never left me whenever I see an animal in a helpless state, since it made me think of the poor animal that I helped catch ( although indirectly, having participated only in making the home-made trap) with my friends.
