Audit trails are important to incorporate within the computerized accounting system in order for the administrator to track a employee's data entry to ensure accountability of data entered, and for the employee to be associated with his or her entry by recording documentation of the actions performed by each user which will limit fraudulent activity,and errors that may have been made.
