I chose this quote by George Hill because I believe it strongly supports my view on the Industrial Revolution as a whole. George Will's quote was meaningful in the sense that he is saying to look around at all the buildings and factories in the city and how money and factories were driving the economy. He is also saying that he honors Jefferson's view on wanting to stay an agrarian society with not very many cities, but he is stating that it's not possible to move forward with life without living and pursuing an Industrial Revolution. I support George Will's quote for a few different reasons. I strongly believe that the Industrial Revolution was bound to happen whether people tried to prevent it or not.
