1.1. ‘Son of Man’ in the Hellenistic and Old Testament traditions:
The ‘Son of Man’ title that derived from a Hebrew and Aramaic ?????? ?????? kebar ?enaš, reflects a Semitic idiom, which designates a collective (humanity) or an individual within the collective. (Human being). A ‘son of man ‘means simply ‘a man’.

As anyone, I agree that Book of Revelation is hard to understand and it generally sounds a ‘mysterious book’ with “so many images symbol metaphors, myths and hymns”.
