Judicial Review

The Judicial system is viewed by some people to be the most powerful branch of government in America. If the Judicial system holds that much authority people need to see what is happening in the United States Courts. Televising arguments before the Supreme Court would improve awareness of how the American Judicial systems works by having commentary for trials on television, learning how American Laws are interpreted, and improved confidence in the Judicial System.
By televising Supreme Court hearings the American people as well as people around the world could learn more how the United States courts work. Putting the hearings on television would expand the awareness of court actions. ...

If laws are going to continually be made in the courts people should have the right to see and hear how these laws are being interpreted and applied to life today. These laws have just as much impact on Americans as do actions by Congress and the people need to know about them.
Televising Court hearings will improve confidence in the Court system. How can people be confident in something they have never seen before? By having Supreme Court hearings on Television people can form their own opinions on how they think the Courts are doing (Siracuse). There will be no need to rely on news channels for opinions on the courts when the resources for developing your own opinion are made available to the public.
