When talking about mental health, it is commonly thought of as mental illnesses like depression and anxiety. But it doesn't limit to being mentally ill, nor absence of mental disorders, it refers to our emotional, psychological, and social wellbeing. In fact, it covers a wide scope as it is ultimately our everyday life, ability to keep relationships, cope with life hurdles, and contributing to society.

Now if we talk about relevance - from the uncertainty that gives people anxiety to the feeling of isolation that could stem to different symptoms, we can definitely say how impactful this pandemic is to our mental health that it feels like another pandemic. This reminds me of a story from Sky News, wherein there's this man named Eric, who used to be an addict and was on his way to being cured, but then COVID-19 came, and he died because of drug overdose. He worked really hard, but he didn't make it due to the factors that came along with this pandemic.
Having mental illness, during pandemic or not, is just as alarming as having heart diseases, and to turn this alarm off, certain switches must be toggled down. Engage with exercises and meditations. Also, instead of social distancing, make it physical.
